Job Summary: Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager this entry-level position is responsible for coordinating and supporting technical activities. The role requires technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and excellent teamwork skills to be successful. Provides technical assistance in support of others. Applies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction Job Description: * Performs assignments in specialized areas requiring technical expertise. * Reviews functional specifications for completeness and consideration of practical limitations. * Coordinates activities as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. * May support the review of technical documentation. * Supports basic work planning, coordination, budgeting, and cost estimating. * May support the development and updates of single line diagrams, and equipment specifications for engineering review and approval. * Supports material procurement. * Collaborates with activities in the QA/QC process. * Provides basic technical support to field and construction groups.



* Utilizes and improves processes and standards. * Provides reporting, including presentations to work groups and management. * Position may be required to work extended hours including major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned. * Other duties as assigned. Additional Job Description:Minimum QualificationsEducation and Experience * BS in a technical field or BS Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college. * Zero to two years of professional engineering experience. Skills * Business knowledge in the utility & regulated environment. * Interpersonal and relationship development skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers. * Team player and ability to prioritize assignments to meet commitments. * Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues.
