We are looking for an Engineering Team Leader to join our Product Engineering team in Les Franqueses del Vallès.

This is an opportunity for an experienced engineering professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership, driving product development projects and supporting a team to achieve its best.

? Your role and key responsibilities

As Engineering Team Leader, you will lead and develop our Product Engineering team, ensuring the successful development of our products from initial concept through to production readiness.

- Lead and develop your team: fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement through coaching, performance management and talent development.
- Drive engineering projects: ensuring that technical solutions meet quality, timing and cost objectives.
- Oversee the product development process: from concept and material selection to prototyping, design validation and production readiness.
- Ensure engineering excellence: applying robust development methodologies, including Design FMEA and appropriate design verification processes.
- Collaborate across functions: working closely with Innovation, Sales and Operations to turn technical requirements into effective product solutions.
- Plan and manage team resources: supporting recruitment, workload allocation and the development of technical capabilities.

? What you bring

We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, a collaborative mindset and the motivation to lead and develop others.

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering,



Plastics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in product development or engineering within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of plastic component design and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, particularly CATIA V5.
- Experience leading people or technical projects, or a demonstrated readiness to take the next step into people leadership.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have: Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D-FMEA). ? Why join us?
