We are looking for a Front Desk Trainee to join our Front Office team. This internship opportunity is ideal for students who are passionate about hospitality, guest service, and hotel operations, and who are eager to gain hands-on experience in an international and dynamic environment.

As part of our team, you will be one of the main points of contact for our guests, helping to create exceptional experiences from arrival to departure while learning first-hand how one of the most important hotel departments operates.

What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Trainee, you will have the opportunity to:

- Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional, and personalized arrival experience.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures following Hyatt service standards.
- Handle internal and external telephone calls in a professional and efficient manner.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and needs with a service-oriented approach.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and guest experiences.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and activities to assist guests throughout their stay.
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Guest Services, Events, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Learn and apply Front Office operational procedures and Hyatt brand standards.
- Support the resolution of guest concerns and follow up on requests proactively.




- Contribute to creating memorable experiences that exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain effective communication within the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Represent the Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

Who You Are We'd love to hear from you if:

- You are currently studying Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- You are passionate about guest service and building a career in the hospitality industry.
- You have advanced English language skills; Spanish is highly valued.
- You enjoy interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- You are organized, proactive, and attentive to detail.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- You are eager to learn and develop professionally.
- You are available for a 5- or 6-month internship in Barcelona.
- You are able to sign an internship agreement with your university or educational institution.
- You have legal authorization to work in Spain or are enrolled in a university eligible for internships within the European Union.

- €450 net per month for 30-hour-per-week internships and €500 net per month for 40-hour-per-week internships.
