Reporting to: AI Solutions Manager

Based in: Madrid

What will you do?

- Build AI-powered solutions end to end, working closely with the AI Solutions Manager.
- Connect the systems where our information lives.
- Automate processes that are still manual and repetitive.
- Create assistants that give our people answers and the ability to act without needing a technical intermediary.
- Work side by side with business teams across X-ELIO to turn everyday operational challenges into working solutions.
- Own every project through five stages: discovery with the business team, a working prototype within days, a production-quality build, deployment with real users, and ongoing support.
- Deploy and maintain what you build after launch, from monitoring and fixes to improvements and user support, because at X-ELIO we care not only about what we deliver, but how.

What success looks like to us We believe in transparency, so we would rather tell you clearly what we will be looking for than leave you guessing.

- Initially, you will support the AI Solutions Manager with data management and integration, and develop workflows that free our colleagues from repetitive manual work.
- Subsequently, the reliability of what you deliver becomes the priority. Once your solutions are in use, you will respond to the questions, issues and change requests that arise as colleagues across the business come to depend on them.
- Over time,



you will take full ownership of several solutions in production, managing them independently and deciding with sound judgement which elements merit fixing and which merit rebuilding.

What do we need?

- Solid Python and working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience integrating systems through their APIs.
- Hands-on experience building with large language models (prompt engineering, function calling, retrieval). We value what you have actually built over theory.
- Demonstrable curiosity: a GitHub profile, side projects, or things you built simply because you wanted to know whether they would work.
- Experience with cloud platforms, data warehouses and vector databases is a plus, but not required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
