Senior Scientific Project Manager - MEdical Writing & Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientific Project Manager to join our dynamic, international Scientific Excellence Platform. Reporting directly to the Director of the Scientific Excellence Platform, you will develop and manage end-to-end medical/scientific writing projects (ranging from peer review publication to content for medical training and medical communication materials) as well as innovation landscaping and scouting activities, acting as the main point of contact for clients from kick off to final delivery. You will also prepare and moderate scientific events for our general network of clients in the Life Science industry (Pharma, Consumer Health Care, Medical Nutrition, Medical Devices).

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and Manage Medical Writing Projects: Analyse scientific data and produce impactful, synthetic documents, including manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, scientific reports, posters, oral communications, educational content and scientific dossiers.

- Manage Innovation Projects: Coordinate scouting landscaping activities around new molecules, ingredients, compounds and technologies for the Pharma, CHC,medical nutrition, cosmetics, Pharma industries and present outcomes to clients

- Prepare and Moderate Scientific Events: Design, prepare and moderate scientific events, advisory boards and workshops, both live and online.

- Provide Scientific Advisory: Translate scientific evidence into clear recommendations for clients across therapeutic areas and product categories, taking regulatory considerations into account where relevant.

- Own Projects End-to-End:



Act as the main point of contact for clients: understand their needs, define scope, timelines and budget, coordinate delivery, manage expectations and present results, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.

- Monitor Project Progress: Track project milestones, develop highly synthetic reports and present outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

- Organise and Coordinate Workflows: Efficiently coordinate team workflows, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet project requirements and deadlines, and support the development of junior team members.

- Perform Quality Control: Carry out comprehensive quality control on project deliverables, ensuring scientific accuracy and the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements:

- Education: PhD in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology, Pharmacy or related fields) is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a consultancy or a medical/scientific communications agency, including medical or scientific writing and client-facing project management. Research experience in an academic or industrial setting, ideally including international exposure, is highly valued.
- Expertise in medical and scientific writing,



with a track record of peer-reviewed publications and congress communications.
- Proven experience in managing projects directly with clients (scoping, planning, delivery and follow-up).
- Experience in translating scientific evidence into clear and actionable client deliverables.
- Competence in moderating and facilitating scientific events and workshops.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (medicinal products, CHC, medical devices, food supplements) is a nice-to-have.
- Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals is a plus.
- Languages: Bilingual-level English (C1-C2) is mandatory. Proficiency in French is highly appreciated; Spanish or German is a plus.
- Tools: Advanced command of scientific literature databases and reference management tools, Microsoft Office and AI tools.
