You are building and improving the simulation tools that help our engineers understand how advanced warhead designs perform against complex targets before physical testing takes place. As a Junior Terminal Ballistics Simulation Engineer, you will join our Kinetics Team in Madrid and contribute directly to the development, validation and improvement of simulation models used to evaluate terminal ballistic performance against hardened structures.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build strong expertise in computational mechanics and terminal ballistics while working on real defense systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gradually taking ownership of simulation activities and turning complex physical problems into reliable engineering models.

What You'll Do
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve terminal ballistic simulation models focused on warhead effects against hardened structures.

• Build, run, validate and optimize computational models using engineering software such as NX, IMPETUS or similar CAE tools.

• Work closely with engineers within the Kinetics Team to translate design requirements and physical scenarios into accurate computational models.
• Analyze simulation results, identify trends and contribute to improving model accuracy, robustness and computational efficiency.
