At Medibank, we're investing in the future of our data platforms and capabilities. As part of a significant multi-year data transformation program, we're looking for an experienced Data Solution Architect with strong Databricks platform enablement experience to help shape and establish the foundations of our next-generation data ecosystem. This role will kick off as an intial 12-month daily rate contract, with a rate of up to $1200 per day.
This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll partner closely with engineering, platform and delivery teams to design, implement and evolve a modern Databricks-based data platform that supports scalable, governed and reusable data products.

We're looking for someone who has recently been involved in standing up or significantly evolving a Databricks platform, understands the challenges of implementing modern data capabilities in large enterprises, and can bridge architecture, platform and engineering teams to deliver practical outcomes.
You’ll play a key role in helping Medibank mature towards a data product operating model, establishing platform patterns, governance controls and engineering frameworks that enable teams to confidently build and consume trusted data.
