We are looking for a product-minded Software Engineer to join our Customer Ops squad, with the role open in London, Paris or Barcelona.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working closely with Product and Design, understanding operational challenges and turning them into simple, reliable customer experiences.
You will own features end to end, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through technical design, development, testing, deployment and continuous improvement.
The Customer Ops squad works on the systems and workflows that support customers throughout their journey with Spendesk. This includes customer setup, onboarding, lifecycle operations, feature management, billing, cashback and notifications.
You will also contribute to the internal tools and automation that help our teams operate efficiently, including demo environments, operational workflows and self-service capabilities. The role is full-stack, with opportunities to work across backend services, APIs and integrations as well as user-facing and operational interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Build and improve customer setup and onboarding workflows.
Develop features supporting the customer lifecycle, including billing, cashback, feature management and notifications.
Design and maintain reliable integrations with third-party providers and internal services.
Work with APIs, webhooks and asynchronous workflows across multiple systems.
Contribute to operational tooling, demo environments and workflow automation.
Build self-service capabilities that make customer and internal operations more efficient.
