The selected candidate will design, own and deploy the Sourcing Strategy for main product categories for Ovivo at a Global level, aiming to ensure supply at the best possible TCO. The role is in Barcelona, and reports to the Ovivo Commercial Project Manager. Key Responsibilities * Develop and deploy strategies to optimize the total cost of ownership across an identified set of categories * Acts as business owner for your categories autonomously defining and executing sourcing strategies. Goals: improve reliability, get competitive pricing, seek technical and commercial opportunities, reduce complexity, shorten lead times. You are responsible for directly leading negotiations with suppliers.



* Engages with key stakeholders to maintain alignment with evolving business needs. * Applies, as sourcing methodology, the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) process and tools, from definition to implementation, to build and reinforce a best-in-class supply that meets the company goals. * Collaborates across Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Business to ensure action plans and project milestones are met. * Investigates, develops, and drives actions to remedy supply disruptions and constraints. Effectively communicates updates to internal stakeholders. * Builds and maintains expert knowledge of respective categories, competition, and innovations. * Provides accurate pricing forecasts and understands key feedstock trends. * Links knowledge of current market trends with supplier portfolios to identify opportunities for marketplace advantages and generate new ideas for gaining a competitive advantage.
