HIM Staff Qualifications Degree as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from an accredited school. Computer Experience Required In Windows, Spreadsheet And Word Processing. Two or more years of previous hospital experience in health information management/medical record functions. Knowledge of DNV standards and state regulations for health information/medical record requirements. Ability to work with hospital management and physicians in an effort to ensure compliance to HIM policy and procedures. Two years management, supervisory and leadership experience. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills in writing, verbally, non-verbally and electronically. Demonstrates exceptional negotiation skills.
