The EMEA Financial Services team spans more than 150 analysts across nine regional offices. As Sector Lead for EMEA Financial Services/Financial Institutions (European Union), you will be the senior analytical voice on European banking and financial sector risk, driving thought leadership and analytical consistency across the practice. What You'll Do Impact You will shape how investors, regulators, and markets understand credit risk across the European financial institutions sector. Your thought leadership will define sector narratives,



your engagement with the European Central Bank and senior regulators will reinforce S&P; Global Ratings' credibility, and your mentorship will build the analytical talent that sustains long‑term excellence across the team. Responsibilities * Act as the primary analytical spokesperson and counterpart for the Continental European financial institutions ecosystem – including the European Central Bank, regulators, institutional investors, and major media – delivering high-profile presentations on banking, non-bank financials, and emerging areas such as decentralized finance and neobanks. * Lead thought‑leading research on European banking trends and systemic risk; chair the regional Analytical Oversight Credit Committee, define strategic portfolio reviews, and set annual analytical priorities grounded in data‑driven analysis and forward‑looking market insights.
