Summary You will serve as a Engineering Technician (2M MTR FOTR) in the Engineering Department of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA. Duties * You will ensure quality and cost effective troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to surface ships as well as train military personnel in preparation for them to return to sea. * You will be responsible for planning work, setting timelines, and preparing schedules for completion of work. * You will be responsible for the scheduling of all inspections and certifications and the coordination of obtaining materials as required in support of the 2M, MTR, FOTR program. * You will systematically approach the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling organizational resources, make appropriate prioritization and critical decisions to support the achievement of goals and objectives * You will provide expertise on all aspects of electronic circuit card repair and reconstruction. * You will serve in an advisory role to the Chief Engineer via the Technical Director in matters requiring Technical Authority.
