At Sword Iberia , we are looking for a Microsoft 365 Engineer to join an international project, supporting enterprise messaging, identity and collaboration services across a complex, multi-site environment.

If you have strong experience with Exchange Online, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration , and enjoy combining technical troubleshooting with automation and security, we would love to hear from you.

Location: Valencia, Spain

Working model: Primarily on-site, with up to one day of remote work per week

On-call rotation: Approximately one week per month, depending on team size

What you will do

- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 tenants, integral policies and configurations in line with governance requirements and best practices.
- Configure and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
- Manage the lifecycle of Entra ID users, guests, groups, roles, enterprise applications and Microsoft 365 licences.
- Manage mail routing, anti-spam and anti-malware protection, quarantine and mail relay services.
- Troubleshoot mail delivery issues and perform advanced message tracing.
- Manage email archiving, retention, compliance policies, legal holds, advanced eDiscovery and data recovery.
- Configure identity security controls, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC and Defender for Identity.
- Support identity governance through entitlement management, Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and access reviews.
- Automate administrative processes using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.




- Support users across different locations and participate in the on-call rotation.

What we are looking for

- At least four years of experience managing, operating and maintaining complex email and identity infrastructures across multiple sites.
- At least one year of experience working directly with customers on cloud and Microsoft 365 solutions and deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview .
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID in complex environments, including Domain Services, B2B/B2C, Identity Protection, Identity Governance and application registration.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph .
- Experience supporting migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365 and/or tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Excellent written and spoken English , with the ability to communicate confidently with international teams and users.
- Availability to work primarily on-site in Valencia and take part in the on-call rotation.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with IT service management, the ITIL framework and ISO 20000.
- Knowledge of monitoring and management tools such as SCOM.
- Microsoft 365, other relevant Microsoft certifications or ITIL certification.
