About the opportunity

A confidential client, an established international real estate developer, is seeking a senior Development Director to lead major projects in the Costa del Sol. The role is suited to a senior leader with strong local market knowledge and hands-on experience across both real estate development and construction, including the delivery of high-end residential projects.

The role

The Development Director will guide large-scale projects from planning through execution, coordinating the work of multidisciplinary teams and engaging effectively with key project stakeholders. Experience delivering master-planned communities is particularly relevant.

Candidate profile

- At least 10 years of experience in real estate planning and project execution.
- Senior manager or director-level experience in the Costa del Sol, with a background spanning both construction and development.
- A degree in Architecture,



Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related discipline.
- A track record leading large-scale real estate developments and delivering at least one major project through execution, beyond the design stage.
- Experience working on master-planned communities.
- Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors, investors, and local authorities.
- Experience with high-end or luxury residential developments is an advantage.
- GCC experience is welcome but not required.
- Fluency in Spanish and existing authorization to work in Spain; visa sponsorship is not available.
