As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team and help drive our financial operations forward.
Oversee and manage all bookkeeping and financial operations for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Supervise and mentor an accounting assistant, providing guidance, task delegation, and performance oversight
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
Ensure compliance with local Spanish tax regulations as well as international financial reporting requirements
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed
Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities to support business decision-making
Manage payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
Attend in-office meetings and collaborative sessions at the Valencia headquarters on an as-needed basis
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
