Senior Microsoft 365 / Entra ID EngineerSpainInitial 6 MonthsWe are looking for aMicrosoft 365 specialistwith strong expertise across enterprise messaging, collaboration and identity services. The role will focus on the ongoing administration, support and optimisation of Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and associated security and compliance technologies.The successful consultant will work closely with the wider Digital Services and Messaging team, supporting enterprise environments and collaborating with technical teams across the organisation.ResponsibilitiesManage and administer the general Microsoft 365 tenant and its associated services.Maintain and configureM365 and Entra ID policies, ensuring alignment with governance requirements and Microsoft best practices.Administer key Microsoft 365 services includingExchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview .Manage the provisioning and lifecycle of Entra ID objects, including users, guests, security groups, roles, enterprise applications, mail-enabled objects and Microsoft 365 licences.Manage email routing, message hygiene, anti-spam and anti-malware controls, quarantine and mail relay services.Configure and support online archiving, retention and compliance policies, includingPersistent Hold and Advanced eDiscoverycapabilities.Support data recovery and investigate complex messaging and compliance-related issues.Carry out advanced message tracing and troubleshoot non-delivery and mail flow issues.Configure and maintain identity security controls, includingDefender for Identity, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access and RBAC .Implement and manageEntra ID Identity Governancecapabilities, including Entitlement Management, Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Access Reviews.Provide technical support and assistance to end users,



including users working from remote locations.Participate in anon-call support rotaoutside standard working hours.Undertake additional M365, messaging and identity-related activities as required.Required Technical ExperienceThe successful candidate should have:At least4 years' experiencemanaging, operating and maintaining large-scale, multi-site and complex messaging and identity environments.At least1 year of experience working directly with customerson Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft 365 solutions and deployments.Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview .Extensive experience withMicrosoft Entra IDwithin complex enterprise environments, including Entra Domain Services, B2B/B2C, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, SSO, MFA and application registration.Strong scripting experience, particularlyPowerShell and Microsoft Graph, with the ability to automate administrative and operational processes across Entra ID, Exchange Online and other Microsoft 365 services.Experience or exposure tomigration projects, including transitions from on-premise environments to Microsoft 365 and/or tenant-to-tenant migrations.Excellent written and spokenEnglish .Additional Experience – DesirableKnowledge ofIT Service Management (ITSM), including ISO 20000 and the ITIL framework.Familiarity with enterprise management and monitoring platforms such asSCOM .Understanding of industry-standard IT service management and operational best practices.Soft SkillsStrong customer-facing and verbal communication skills.Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.Strong analytical and logical approach to troubleshooting complex technical problems.Comfortable working under pressure and with limited supervision.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse technical teams.Proactive approach to developing technical knowledge and keeping up with new technologies.Desirable CertificationsMicrosoft 365 certifications.Other relevant Microsoft certifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
