In this role you will lead the programming deliverables for clinical studies or small to mid-sized projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery aligned with standards. You work with cross-functional teams to implement programming aspects of development programs and drive best practices, automation, and risk management. You’ll contribute to technical initiatives and mentor others, using your expertise in programming to influence stakeholders and improve processes.

- Lead programming deliveries for a clinical study or small to medium sized project
- Implement statistical programming aspects of the protocol or development program
- Ensure high quality in own deliverables and that of other programmers
- Program independently with high efficiency and quality
- Write specifications and ensure complete documentation
- Contribute to or drive development of best practices to improve quality and efficiency




- Ensure compliance with standards and automation usage
- Plan and lead team activities and tasks
- Identify, manage and communicate risk in studies/projects
- Collaborate with study team members (statistician, lead programmer, data manager, study leader) and with contract programmers
- Influence stakeholders with subject matter expertise on programming items
- Contribute to or lead technical initiatives
- Apply project management practices to programming aspects of drug/technical projects
- Demonstrated experience programming in R
- Experience programming in Python xugodme
- Ability with AI-enabled solutions (AI agents)

Responsabilidades

- Degree in Mathematics (Applied Math, Engineering, etc), Statistics, Computer Science, Life Science or equivalent
- Excellent programming skills including macro language
- Proficient knowledge of the clinical development process
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards
- Ability to apply programming knowledge to problem solving
- Ability to manage relevant documentation
- Ability to influence stakeholders on programming items
