We’re looking for a Technical Producer, AVL & Purchasing to connect the dots between creative ambition, technical reality and commercial performance.

You’ll become the internal technical reference across our projects, supporting our Project Management and Creative teams, leading technical delivery on complex productions and helping us build stronger supplier partnerships and better purchasing conditions.

This is a role for someone who is technical first, but who also understands budgets, negotiation and the commercial reality behind great productions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Be our technical reference

Oversee the technical side of our productions and bring specialist expertise across audio and video systems, ambient and show lighting, staged content and performances, electrical networks, custom-built interiors and show sets.

Review technical proposals and drawings, advise our PM teams and make sure that the solutions we specify are safe, realistic and right for the project. Your technical know-how is what turns our creative vision into a working system or show.

Lead complex productions on-site

On our larger and more technically demanding projects, act as Iventions’ internally and towards clients and venues — coordinating AVL suppliers and crews, overseeing installations, liaising with venue stakeholders, and running technical rehearsals and live delivery. Lead technical site surveys, align system stakeholders, oversee technical integrations, and take responsibility for keeping our venues a safe workplace by applying international Health & Safety standards.

Challenge suppliers and protect our margins

Create technical specification sheets. Review AVL and technical quotations, and negotiate costs and commercial conditions.



Support PMs with technical budgets — always keeping an eye on alternatives and finding ways to create maximum impact at efficient cost.

Build strategic supplier partnerships

Develop preferred-supplier relationships, negotiated rates and commercial agreements, particularly in the destinations and cities where Iventions delivers projects repeatedly. Use our purchasing power intelligently to improve quality, consistency and project profitability.

Help Creative make ambitious ideas possible

Partner with our Creative team from the earliest stages of a project. Review concepts for technical feasibility, advise on lighting, AV, custom builds, construction and technical solutions — and help find ways to bring bold, innovative ideas to life. We're looking for someone whose first question is: "How can we make this possible?"

Bring innovation into the room

Stay close to emerging technologies and trends across AV, lighting, interactive experiences, digital installations, XL video formats, materials and production methods. Bring new ideas and technologies into brainstorms, proposals and pitches, extending what our Creative and Project teams can offer our clients.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You’re a technical producer with a commercial mindset and creative curiosity.

You understand the technical detail, but you can also see the bigger picture, the creative idea, the client experience, the budget and the business behind it.

You’ll ideally bring

- Strong experience in technical production, AVL, live events, exhibitions or experiential production.
- Broad knowledge of designing, scoping and integrating AVL systems for events
- Command of technical drawings, lighting plans and wiring schemes; confident working in AutoCAD.




- Experience supervising electrical requirements and power distribution for temporary installations
- Hands-on experience with site surveys, installations, technical rehearsals and live show management
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience reviewing quotations, managing technical budgets and controlling costs
- Knowledge of custom builds, construction, scenic decoration and temporary event structures
- Solid Health & Safety knowledge and relevant certification
- Confidence coordinating external technical suppliers and crews
- Curiosity about new technologies and how they can be used creatively
- A practical, resourceful and solution-oriented mindset
- Professional English and intermediate Spanish; additional languages are a plus
- Availability to travel internationally for projects when required
