We are looking for a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Accelera Business sector in Guadalajara, Spain.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:- Design, develop, and optimize control systems that improve manufacturing performance, reliability, quality, and operational efficiency.- Lead the development, testing, validation, and commissioning of controls hardware and software solutions for new and existing equipment.- Investigate complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve system performance.- Configure, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based control systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and according to specification.- Drive factory automation initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes through innovative control technologies and machine programming.- Develop and implement controls networking solutions that enable seamless communication between equipment, manufacturing systems, and data platforms.- Promote controls system security by reviewing and approving designs that protect manufacturing equipment and operational technology environments.- Mentor and coach less experienced Controls Engineers, sharing technical expertise and supporting the development of engineering capability across the team.Education/ Experience- College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a related field,



or equivalent industry experience.- Intermediate level of relevant experience in controls engineering, industrial automation, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline.- Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory- Experience developing, implementing, and supporting PLC-based control systems and factory automation solutions.- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems, sensors, actuators, and manufacturing equipment.- This position may require eligibility for licensing or compliance with export controls and sanctions regulations.Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
