Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Spanish
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

- Evaluate AI training data in Spanish through Multilingual Transcription Audit and Forced Alignment Audit.
- Review recordings and transcriptions to ensure accuracy using a fixed set of error codes.
- Verify audio segments for correct timestamp alignment and transcription accuracy.
- Correct errors by adjusting boundaries, splitting or merging segments, and adding or removing segments as needed.
- Provide detailed written rationales for each judgment to improve AI model performance.
- Work independently with a focus on careful listening and consistent rubric application.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Native or near-native command of Spanish as spoken in Spain.




- Strong English reading and writing skills.
- Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA.
- Ability to distinguish similar sounds and identify word boundaries in continuous speech.

Preferred

- Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
- Background in phonetics or linguistics.
- Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
