We are building a new

5-star resort in Zanzibar , set to become one of the region's leading luxury destinations. We are looking for a RESTAURANT MANAGER to support the Food and Beverage Department in the management and operation of the area, ensuring that established standards are met and monitoring operational costs. Request corrective maintenance needs for the area from supervisors and/or captains, ensuring that the repair is satisfactory. Determine how products will be discontinued to channel their follow-up to the administrative area. Prepare the discharges of out-of-service equipment. Keep a weekly check on the popularity of dishes to determine which ones are most popular at different consumption centers. Prepare the daily restaurant report that includes sales, not generated packages. Prepare weekly staff roles at consumption centers. Conduct staff performance evaluations for all levels of the department. Organize a weekly work meeting with area personnel. Coordinate inventories together with cost personnel. Prepare purchase requisitions and warehouse withdrawals and follow up. Cover the functions of the food and beverage management in their absence. Constantly monitor the operation and service of the various consumer centers to ensure compliance with established standards. Provide personalized service to VIPs, ETC, Catalonia Rewards, and repeat guests to ensure their needs are met. Oversee the amenities provided to VIPs, ETC, Catalonia Rewards and repeat guests. Implement the hotel's hygienic handling standards for equipment, food, and beverages.



Oversee special events to ensure that the needs determined within the BEO's are met. Record the cleaning of event halls and restaurants in the TAKIS program, monitoring the completion of the requested tasks. Complete the restaurant opening and closing supervision checklist daily. Conduct incident reporting in the Restaurant and Bar areas through the TAKIS program, as well as follow-up with the maintenance department. Comply with the personal presentation standard in accordance with the policies established by the company. Coordinate the area's training program, ensuring employee attendance. Participate in the implementation of the occupational health and safety program, as applicable to the company. Meet the objectives of GesHotel, Quality Standards, Work Environment, Preferred by Nature, Occupational Health and Safety, etc. Participate in courses offered by the company according to the annual training program.
