Context And Mission Context And Mission The High-Performance Embedded Systems (HPES) Laboratory at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center aims at carrying out research on bringing HPC technologies to systems with some form of criticality, namely safety, mission and security.

This includes domains such as automotive, space, avionics, robotics, manufacturing, etc.

Our work is mainly done in the context of bilateral projects with several EU companies as well as several European-funded projects.

BSC is also carrying out activities related to building virtual demonstrators of the forthcoming automotive RISC-V CPUs and hypervisors.

We are looking to hire a candidate working on building such demonstrators for perception pipelines on RISC-V platforms and software stacks.

Key Duties

Build a perception pipeline on ROS2 or a similar runtime on a RISC-V platform with a hypervisor and Linux

Tailor the perception pipeline to meet specific accuracy/performance trade
