About the Role

The Coordinator, Athlete Services supports the Athlete Services team, which oversees the entire athlete experience from the set-up of online registrations and athlete queries through to bib allocation, onsite registration, athlete welfare and the awards ceremony. The role covers day-to-day athlete enquiries, event registration coordination, onsite accreditation and the supervision of team leaders and volunteers. The postholder works closely with the Operations Manager, Race Director, Partnership team managing the Expo, Operations team, timing company, race referee, announcers, Marketing team and Medical team to ensure a smooth experience for athletes. Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day athlete enquiries and services, answering e-mails and phone calls Collaborate closely with Marketing and Athlete Development Support the execution of athlete development programmes such as AWA, TriClub and Become One Coordinate event registration opening Produce the athlete guide Administer and maintain the online registration tool (Active/Ticketsocket) and the athlete database (CRM – Dynamics 365) Set up event registration forms in Active Plan and implement participant accreditation onsite at events, including layout planning of the set-up Coordinate and supervise Team Leaders and volunteers onsite Work closely with local triathlon federations, the timing partner and other partners to ensure smooth execution of the event Assist with bulk ordering Prepare manuals for all areas concerning Athlete Services before the events Deal with all post-event related tasks such as timing result issues, athlete complaints and lost property Required Experience & Qualifications





Fluent English and French speaking Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of customer service Bachelor Degree or vocational school, ideally in administration, economy, sport or endurance/event business 1 – 2 years of experience in the sport event area or in customer service Strong interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Attention to detail Team player Organisation and time management skills Comprehensive understanding of Active and Office 365 Languages: English, Spanish and Catalan are a must Ability to travel and work at sport events on weekends Independent working, flexibility, reliability and the ability to work under pressure and solve problems Preferred Skills
