Experteer Overview
As Privacy Counsel you will provide guidance on data protection and privacy compliance across the organization, supporting the Privacy Office and EU teams. You will help manage privacy risks, draft and review DPAs, and contribute to regulatory compliance and PIAs. The role sits in a global financial services environment, collaborating with cross‑border teams to ensure lawful data processing. You will stay current with local regulations and help translate complex requirements into practical solutions that enable the business to operate securely and compliantly. This is a hands‑on, policy‑driven role with meaningful impact on data protection across the company.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Provide basic data protection and privacy guidance under supervision to support risk management and business needs
• Draft and review Data Privacy and Data Transfer Agreements; negotiate with third parties
• Assist Privacy Consultants with local regulatory requirements and day-to-day compliance topics
• Prepare and review Data Privacy Notices and Cookie Notices for websites and apps
• Document data processing activities, identify lawful bases, transfers, and contribute to PIAs




• Monitor developments in local data protection regulations and share updates with stakeholders

Responsabilidades
• Qualified lawyer in an EU/EEA jurisdiction
• At least 3 years experience in a corporate, consulting, or law‑firm environment
• Initial hands‑on exposure to data protection, privacy, compliance, or regulatory work
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a matrixed, multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdictional environment with good judgment on escalation
• Nice to have: hands‑on GDPR compliance activities (DPAs, international transfers, DPIAs/PIAs, RoPA, DSRs, breach handling)
• Nice to have: formal privacy training or pursuit of IAPP CIPP/E or ISO privacy certifications
• Nice to have: additional language skills (Lithuanian or other EU languages) and/or exposure to financial services/FinTech
