As a Performance Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
Improving Akamai's content delivery products through cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decisions, and focus on performance, availability, reliability, and efficiency. Responding to escalations for capacity impact evaluation.
Designing strategies for allocating Akamai's global capacity across products to balance efficiency, resilience, and customer experience. Engineering global traffic policies to continuously improve latency, availability, and resource utilization. Automating operational tasks and build frameworks that eliminate toil and reduce manual and repetitive work. Collaborating with engineering and SRE teams to build scalable, resilient systems and troubleshoot complex performance issues across services, networks, and regions.
