About the role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Macquarie University Health finance team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial performance and future success of Macquarie University Hospital and Health Clinics (MQ Health).
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to provide critical financial insights and drive business decision-making. This is a high impact role where you will partner directly with the Hospital Leadership and senior Health Finance and Commercial Managers in supporting desired strategic outcomes.
What will you do
Partner strategically with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide expert financial guidance that influences direction and decision-making. Drive business performance through insightful analysis, scenario modelling, and cost-benefit evaluations that support new initiatives and strategic imperatives. Lead continuous improvement activities within business units, that embed efficient finance processes. Shape financial planning by partnering with business units to develop and critically evaluate annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
