ABOUT THE ROLE & THE TEAMAs a Head of Public Relations, this role requires someone who knows how to effectively communicate with the press and analyst community, particularly in high-pressure or crisis situations, in a way that strengthens SITA's reputation rather than simply managing it. Set the press calendar, govern content quality, and assess coverage based on narrative alignment and placement quality rather than volume.

Recognize and leverage the commercial impact of analyst relationships on purchasing decisions.

Crisis communications You are the person who picks up the phone at 11pm. You maintain and activate a current crisis communications playbook, ensuring readiness for rapid and effective response.

Lead spokesperson training and ensure timely, clear communication during reputational events.

Internal communications Oversee internal communications,



including employee messaging, leadership forums, and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization.

You track reputation indicators deliberately (media sentiment, analyst positioning, share of voice against competitors) and you use that data to make decisions.

The crisis playbook exists, has been tested, and the spokespeople have been trained. Internal communications is operating to a calendar rather than reacting to events.

In year two, success means SITA is a source journalists turn to when they are writing about aviation technology trends, not just a vendor who issues press releases. The internal organization feels informed and connected to where the company is going.
