I'm working with a specialist CDMO looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support international growth.
This is a technical commercial role suited to someone with a strong understanding of viral vectors, vaccines and related biopharmaceutical products , who can confidently engage customers around both the science and commercial opportunity.
The role
- Develop new business with biotech and pharmaceutical customers
- Identify, qualify and progress opportunities through to project award
- Sell specialist CDMO development and manufacturing services
- Build relationships with CMC, R&D;, Technical Operations and manufacturing stakeholders
- Understand customer programmes and translate technical requirements into relevant solutions
- Work closely with internal scientific, process development, manufacturing and project teams
- Represent the business at conferences, industry events and customer meetings
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies and feed commercial insight back into the business
- Manage and develop an international sales pipeline
