I'm working with a specialist CDMO looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support international growth. This is a technical commercial role suited to someone with a strong understanding of viral vectors, vaccines and related biopharmaceutical products , who can confidently engage customers around both the science and commercial opportunity.

The role

Develop new business with biotech and pharmaceutical customers

Identify, qualify and progress opportunities through to project award

Sell specialist CDMO development and manufacturing services

Build relationships with CMC, R&D;, Technical Operations and manufacturing stakeholders

Understand customer programmes and translate technical requirements into relevant solutions

Work closely with internal scientific, process development, manufacturing and project teams

Represent the business at conferences, industry events and customer meetings

Monitor market trends and emerging technologies and feed commercial insight back into the business

Manage and develop an international sales pipeline
