Azurreo is a fully remote scale-up operating across five continents, part of Seelon Holdings Group. Our People & Culture team is small, hands-on and building fast — we are putting in place the structure that will support the group as it grows. We are looking for a Recruitment & HR Associate to join the team on a full-time consultant agreement, based in Syria, reporting to the Integral People & Culture Manager, with a target start of end of September 2026. This fully remote role splits time roughly evenly between recruitment and general HR support, and is a great fit for someone early in their HR career who wants real exposure across the full employee lifecycle rather than a narrow specialism.
Tasks Prepare job postings and align with hiring managers on requirements and timelines
Screen applications and proactively source candidates on LinkedIn and other channels
Arrange and join interviews, keeping candidates and managers informed throughout
Help build our referral channel, one of our strongest sources of good people
Manage onboarding and offboarding for a distributed team




Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Help roll out policies and internal communications
Support the performance review cycle
Respond to day-to-day employee questions
Contribute to HR reporting on how recruitment and people processes are performing.
Requirements 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruitment or a closely related role — agency or in-house both welcome
Organised and self-driven, with the ability to follow through without being chased
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and simple reporting
Clear, confident written communication — essential in a distributed team spread across several countries
Fluent Arabic and strong written and spoken English; French is a real advantage given part of our operation sits in France
Able to work full-time, based in Syria, 9am to 6pm Syria time (one-hour break), Monday to Friday, with weekends off
A reliable internet connection and a suitable home
