The Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented AR & Student Accounts specialist to join us for a 8-month maternity cover.
You will provide essential administrative and operational support, executing the day-to-day billing and collections cycle with absolute precision.
Beyond the numbers,
your mission is to ensure a seamless, supportive financial experience for our students.
By maintaining impeccable records and offering proactive solutions, you will act as a key service partner to both internal departments and the student body in a fast-paced, general environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Student Billing & Invoicing:
Generate, validate, and issue student invoices via Sage X3, ensuring flawless accuracy across tuition fees, programme changes, and payment plans.




Cash Allocation & Reconciliation:
Match daily incoming payments against student accounts.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between gsBase and our ERP with a commitment to absolute accuracy.
Collections & Follow-Up:
Execute proactive outreach to students with outstanding balances, executing the AR Manager's collections strategy with a blend of professionalism, tact, and persistence.
Refunds & Dispute Handling:
Process refund requests and payment disputes strictly within policy, escalating complex scenarios to the AR Manager when necessary.
Month-End Close Support:
Partner with the AR Manager on closing procedures, including deferred income entries, revenue recognition bookings, and mirror account reconciliations.
Reporting & Aging:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive AR dashboards and aging reports using Power BI and advanced Excel, safeguarding data integrity for management review.
