Job Description

As a Senior Intraday Shift Trader for Spain, you will be part of Statkraft's growing 24/7 Energy Management team . Together with your colleagues, you will take responsibility for balancing renewable generation, dispatching versátil assets and optimising positions across Iberian short-term power markets.
Working closely with Origination, Portfolio Management, Algorithmic Trading and Energy Management teams across Europe, you will play a key role in scaling Statkraft's renewable and flexibility business in Spain. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop into a leading expert within one of Europe's most advanced short-term trading organisations. The role builds on Statkraft's growing short-term trading and flexibility optimisation activities in Spain.
In this role you will:
- Help establish robust shift routines, decision standards, handover practices and incident follow up processes for the new Madrid setup
- Act as a senior operational contributor during the ramp up phase and support knowledge
