Experteer Overview
In this role you will operate Santander CIB's global structured-notes issuance platform from Madrid, coordinating end-to-end issuance and lifecycle processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation, controls, and regulatory reporting are robust as the business scales across jurisdictions. The position emphasizes risk-aware governance, process optimization, and collaboration with Structuring, Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, and Technology. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role at the intersection of business, law, and operations.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Coordinate end-to-end issuance and lifecycle management of structured notes and related transactions across internal issuance and repack arrangements and external platforms like SPIRE
• Oversee daily issuance flow, coordination, documentation completeness, incidents, exceptions, and escalation in collaboration with multiple teams
• Maintain governance and control frameworks for issuance activity, supporting audits and regulatory reporting
• Monitor regulatory developments and jurisdiction-specific requirements impacting issuance
• Review financial and legal documentation including programme documents and distribution agreements
• Maintain oversight of operational risks, drive KPI tracking,



root-cause analysis and remediation
• Support distributor onboarding and governance, ensuring consistent execution standards across products and jurisdictions
• Escalate material risks and issues, and optimize capacity through standardized processes and cross-functional coordination

Responsabilidades
• Relevant experience in capital markets, structured products, securities issuance or a comparable control function
• Experience interpreting financial contracts or issuance programme documentation
• Experience in structured-note issuance, programmes, repacks, public offers, listings, or lifecycle processes
• Experience partnering with business and first-/second-line control functions across multiple jurisdictions
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field
• Languages: English at high professional proficiency; German/Italian/French/Spanish preferred
