Head Chef — Chalet Berezka

About the Role

Chalet Berezka is looking for an experienced Head Chef to become the creative and operational leader of our kitchen.

The Head Chef will be responsible for culinary excellence, consistency, kitchen efficiency, cost control and delivering a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Create and maintain the menu in line with the Chalet Berezka concept, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
* Recruit, train and mentor the kitchen team; prepare schedules and conduct performance reviews.
* Develop standardised recipes, portion-control standards and plating guides.
* Control ordering, inventory, food cost and waste while operating within the approved budget.
* Ensure full compliance with food-safety, hygiene and HACCP regulations, including traceability records and cleaning schedules.




* Work closely with the Floor Manager to ensure smooth communication and service timing and personally address food-related guest complaints.
* Collaborate with management and the Art Director on menus for events, private occasions and special guest requests.
* Participate in operational planning and budgeting.

Late-Night Kitchen

* Manage kitchen service hours and the late-night menu as determined by the General Manager.
* Ensure the kitchen closes safely and on time, including equipment shutdown, correct food storage and labelling, cleaning of all areas and completion of the closing checklist.

Objectives

* Consistently deliver superior food quality and presentation.
* Build and maintain a motivated, high-performing kitchen team.
* Operate within budget while minimising food waste.
* Maintain full compliance with health, hygiene and safety standards.

We are looking for a strong culinary leader with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and experience managing a high-volume restaurant
