We’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our integral team and help manage a large, diverse, and rapidly evolving NoSQL environment.
This is not a traditional database administration role. You’ll work at significant scale, supporting thousands of NoSQL systems and hundreds of applications in a 24/7 environment. You’ll have ownership across the full database lifecycle, while helping us improve how we automate, optimize, secure, and operate critical infrastructure in AWS.
You’ll work with technologies including Cassandra, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, Redis, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ClickHouse, Terraform, and Python, with opportunities to explore how AI can further improve automation and incident response.
For someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and wants their work to have a long-term impact,

this is an opportunity to combine deep database expertise with cloud engineering, automation, and technical leadership.
Why join Verisk?
You’ll be joining a global technology environment where database reliability, performance, and scalability have a meaningful impact on the applications and services our business depends on.
At Verisk Underwriting Solutions, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your expertise beyond day-to-day database administration. You’ll help modernize infrastructure, automate complex processes, influence technical decisions, and improve how critical NoSQL environments operate at scale.
You’ll also gain exposure across cloud engineering, infrastructure as code, automation, and emerging AI technologies while working alongside experienced engineering teams in a stable global organization.
If you’re looking for a role where you can take real ownership, work on technically challenging infrastructure,
