About the opportunity
Are you passionate about medical technology and eager to make an impact in healthcare? Join our R&D; team in Barcelona and help develop next-generation In Vitro Diagnostic instruments.
You will integrate complex hardware, software, and assay components into robust diagnostic platforms that improve lives worldwide. This is an onsite based role in Barcelona, Spain (4 days in the office, 1 day at home).
Your Tasks
• Lead integration of mechanical, electronic, and software subsystems in IVD instrumentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Assay Development, Software, Hardware, QA/RA) to support system design decomposition and requirement definition, while ensuring seamless system performance.
• Design and execute system-level verification and validation protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across disciplines.
• Create documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support design transfer to manufacturing and post-market improvements.
Your Profile
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Biotechnology, or related field.
