Experteer Overview In this role you own the CI/CD Kubernetes platform end-to-end, enabling fast, reliable builds for a large Rails monorepo. You work with a self-hosted GitHub Actions fleet on bare metal across European data centers, driving capacity, reliability, upgrades, and cost management. You design and tune caching, run data services for tests, and instrument the platform to show measurable improvements. You collaborate with engineers across teams and treat the platform as a product that engineers rely on daily.

Compensaciones / Incentivos • Own the CI/CD Kubernetes clusters end-to-end, including capacity planning, reliability, upgrades, security, and cost. • Operate and scale self-hosted GitHub Actions runners with Runner Controller and scale sets. • Manage data services (MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse) started per job and ensure fast test workloads. • Design and optimize caches (node-local overlays, image/artifact caches, registry mirrors) to speed builds. • Instrument the platform to reduce queue wait and build duration with measurable targets. • Manage infrastructure as code via Terraform, GitOps with Flux/Argo CD, and manifests using Kustomize and Helm. • Provision and operate bare metal, including networking across data centers and kernel-level troubleshooting. • Lead incident response, postmortems,



and implement guardrails and runbooks. • Engage with engineers to improve workflows and make the platform easier to use.

Responsabilidades • 5+ years of running production infrastructure with Kubernetes at the center • Deep Kubernetes knowledge: scheduling, limits/requests, evictions, node pressure, DaemonSets, controllers, operators • Strong Linux/container fundamentals (containerd/Docker, cgroups, namespaces, storage, networking) • Terraform and infrastructure as code with good module design and state hygiene • CI/CD at platform level: shared workflows, reusable templates, runner architecture, caching • Experience with GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners • Scripting: Bash plus Python or Go • Observability mindset: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards; OpenTelemetry/Prometheus tooling • Operational maturity: on-call, incident command, postmortems, problem ownership • Capacity/cost awareness: fleet sizing and budgeting • Clear written English and ability to document for on-call successors
