CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) - Online Gaming Industry
An established international business group operating in the online gaming industry, with operations across multiple countries and currently undergoing significant international expansion, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Group’s financial strategy, taxation, financial planning, and management control functions.
The position will be based in Valencia, Spain, reporting directly to the General Management team and playing a key role in strategic decision-making, business development, and expansion into new international markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee the financial, accounting, and tax management of all companies within the Group.
Coordinate internal finance teams and external financial and tax advisors.
Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, profitability analyses, and cash flow planning.
Implement and enhance consolidated financial reporting procedures, internal controls, and management reporting systems.
Manage relationships with banks, payment service providers (PSPs), auditors, and external tax and financial advisors.
Ensure compliance with tax obligations, financial regulations, and industry-specific requirements across the jurisdictions in which the Group operates.
Optimise the Group’s financial and tax structure, including intercompany transactions, financing arrangements, and international tax planning.
Actively participate in the financial planning of international expansion initiatives, new market entries, potential acquisitions, and corporate restructuring projects.
Develop and monitor financial and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) to support management decision-making and business performance.
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, identifying opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term financial sustainability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE




Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in senior financial management positions, preferably as a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or in a similar leadership role within an international business group.
Proven experience managing the financial operations of companies across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, international taxation, financial consolidation, and management control.
Solid experience in treasury management, banking relationships, cash flow optimisation, and financial planning.
Fluent English is essential, as the role requires regular communication with international teams, advisors, and business partners.
Strong leadership skills, independence, strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to combine strategic financial leadership with hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial operations.

HIGHLY VALUED EXPERIENCE
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Previous experience in online gaming, sports betting, online casino, fintech, or payment services industries.
Familiarity with highly regulated business environments and international financial operations.
Experience supporting international business expansion, mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), and corporate restructuring.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Business Intelligence tools, and advanced financial reporting platforms.
Experience managing complex corporate structures involving multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
