Technical Services Engineer – Spanish / Italian Speaking
About the Role: Our client is a leading global healthcare technology company developing advanced medical imaging and clinical software used by healthcare providers around the world.
They are expanding their European Technical Services team and are looking for a Technical Services Engineer with Spanish or Italian language skills to help deploy, integrate and support their next generation of imaging technology within hospital and healthcare environments.
This is a hands‑on technical role sitting between implementation, systems integration, cloud/infrastructure and advanced technical support .
You'll take ownership of getting solutions successfully deployed into customer environments, connecting them into existing healthcare IT ecosystems and troubleshooting complex technical issues once systems are live.
What You'll Do: Install, configure and deploy medical imaging software within customer environments
Integrate solutions with healthcare systems including PACS, DICOM and HL7
Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure and connectivity issues
Work extensively with Linux, command-line tools, logs and scripting to diagnose problems
Support cloud-based and on‑premise deployments
Work directly with hospital IT, PACS and imaging teams throughout implementation and support
Own technical issues through investigation, escalation and resolution rather than operating as traditional first‑line support
Collaborate with Engineering, Product and other technical teams to resolve more complex problems
Document deployments, technical configurations and troubleshooting processes
Help improve implementation and support processes as the technology continues to scale across Europe
Adecuado Candidate Qualifications: Strong technical background within software implementation, deployment, systems engineering or technical support
Hands‑on experience working with Linux environments
Comfortable troubleshooting using the command line, system/application logs and scripting
Experience deploying or supporting software within complex customer environments
Knowledge of networking, infrastructure and application troubleshooting
Experience with cloud‑based systems or SaaS environments
Strong customer‑facing skills and the ability to manage technical issues directly with customer IT teams
Able to independently investigate complex problems and drive them through to resolution
Highly Desirable: Experience within healthcare IT, medical imaging or radiology technology
Knowledge of DICOM and HL7
Experience working with PACS / RIS environments
Exposure to medical imaging workflows or clinical software
Experience with containers, scripting or modern cloud infrastructure
This is a remote‑focused position within the European Technical Services organisation, working closely with customers and internal technical teams across the region.
The team is particularly interested in candidates who can support customers in Spanish‑or Italian‑speaking markets .
You'll be joining a growing technical organisation working on modern medical imaging technology, with the opportunity to combine hands‑on engineering, customer interaction and healthcare systems integration rather than sitting within a traditional helpdesk environment.
