As a Major Account Executive, you will take ownership of selling new innovations within our product range to prospects and existing customers. You will be responsible for the full cycle of sales activities from lead generation to deal closure. As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
Fostering long term and solid relationships through understanding customer needs and being an effective advocate within Akamai.
Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to increase visibility of prospects.
Have relevant direct sales experience in a Business, or a technical discipline with prior sales experience in Africa.
Have experience selling enterprise-class cybersecurity solutions, technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to enterprise class companies.




Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long-term planning.
Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including security, networking a strategic landscape.
Have an ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers CXO.
Have good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
