We are seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Engineer to join our team, assisting in the preparation of plumbing system construction documents for healthcare, higher education, and commercial building projects.
The Plumbing Engineer will collaborate with project teams throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring plumbing plans align with budget constraints, design requirements, and client needs.This role includes staying up-to-date with industry trends, attending professional development events, and fostering connections with local industry professionals.Perform technical design and quality control on assigned projects, including plumbing system calculations and layouts.Maintain best practices in engineering methods and ensure compliance with current plumbing and energy codes.Explore and implement cost-efficiency improvements in plumbing designs.Develop and review project specifications.Update and correct drawings based on quality assurance feedback.Assist the director in maintaining quality assurance standards.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Education:



Bachelors Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Experience:35 years in the engineering field with expertise in plumbing systems.Related experience in healthcare, higher education, or commercial building system design.Knowledge of current plumbing and energy codes.Project management experience is a plus but not required.Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam required.Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.Effective time management and multitasking abilities to meet project deadlines.This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects within a collaborative and innovative environment.
