Experteer Overview As a Financial Accountant, you will deliver accurate accounting, reporting and statutory compliance support within Cognizant's Finance team in Barcelona.
You will collaborate with cross-border stakeholders and auditors to ensure timely closes and reliable financial data.
You'll support Swiss and US GAAP compliance, balance sheet integrity, and process improvements.

Swiss GAAP and financial policies - Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Travel u Expense processing teams - Act as a finance business partner and identify opportunities to improve financial processes - Support additional administrative and operational activities per Controller's guidanceResponsabilidades - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline - Between four and ten years of relevant experience in a comparable financial accounting position - Hands-on experience supporting a Swiss legal entity, including Swiss statutory reporting, audit, tax and VAT requirements - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including US GAAP and Swiss GAAP - Fluent written and spoken English and German - Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines - Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills - Experience in multinational or European finance environment - Familiarity with Swiss Local GAAP adjustments and Swiss VAT requirements - Basic understanding of Swiss corporate a
