As a first-class tradesperson, you will carry out a broad spectrum of structural and finishing masonry works across ongoing building projects. Your main daily responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out general masonry and bricklaying work, including wall construction and brick laying.
- Accurately reading, interpreting, and executing architectural drawings and instructions provided by the site manager.
- Operating and handling standard masonry hand tools and site equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
- Ensuring all construction steps comply with safety protocols, structural guidelines,
and quality standards on site.
To be considered for one of these two positions, you need proven hands-on trade experience in the building sector. The requirements for this role are:
- A minimum of 24 months of professional experience in masonry or stonework as a first-class bricklayer.
- Demonstrated competence in interpreting structural plans and implementing building instructions reliably.
- Practical mastery of masonry equipment, with a strong commitment to occupational health and safety at work.
- A diligent, safety-conscious work style and the ability to work effectively alongside the site team.
