A mechanical workshop based in Inca is currently seeking a motivated Mechanical Assistant to join their technical team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will work hands-on with a variety of vehicles in a central Mallorca location, collaborating directly with experienced technicians.
Your day-to-day responsibilities in the workshop will include:
- Performing basic maintenance and repair support on passenger cars, vans, and trucks.
- Following precise instructions from senior mechanics to prepare vehicles for mandatory vehicle safety inspections (ITV).
- Driving customer and fleet vehicles directly to the official ITV test centre.
- Ensuring tools, work bays, and inspection areas are kept safe, organized, and properly maintained.
To be considered for this opening, you should meet the following requirements:
- Completed vocational training in automotive mechanics (Cicle formatiu de grau mitjà / Vocational Training).
- Valid category B driving licence.
- Sound basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and workshop operations.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a serious work ethic.
- No prior professional work experience is required, making this an excellent start for your mechanical career.
What the position offers:
- A permanent contract (contrato fijo) with long-term stability in Inca.
- A full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, working from 07:00 to 15:00, giving you free afternoons and weekends.
- A gross annual salary of 19,317.61 €.
