Job Title: SrAccount Executive I, (Physical Systems Simulation)
Location: Spain (Remote)
Reports to: Sales Director
Job Overview:
As an Account Executive, you’ll grow Cadence’s Physical Systems Simulation business in your territory, selling simulation software to engineering teams at manufacturers in sectors such as automotive, aerospace and industrial equipment. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to signed deal. You’ll work with technical sales engineers to show customers how simulation can improve their product design, efficiency and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales strategy and execution
- Build and deliver a sales strategy for computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulation in your territory, focusing on automotive, aerospace, defence, industrial equipment and electronics.
- Identify and prioritise target customers, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Tier 1 suppliers and R&D-driven; organisations.




- Win new business and build relationships with engineering teams, R&D; departments and decision-makers.

Revenue generation and business development
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing high-value deals with enterprise customers.
- Develop a consultative sales approach to demonstrate how CAE simulation, FEA, CFD, MBS and Multiphysics software can optimize product design and engineering processes.
- Identify and win upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Partner with technical sales engineers on product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects.

Teamwork and collaboration
- Collaborate with technical teams, product managers and marketing to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Keep accurate records of sales activity, pipeline and forecasts in our CRM (customer relationship management) system.
