Broker Relationship Manager
We are currently looking for a Broker Relationship Manager to be based in Madrid on a full-time basis, reporting into the Branch Manager
Munich Re Risk Solutions Ireland, Spanish Branch is responsible for the whole relation for national and multinational customers and brokers based in Spain and Portugal. The Broker Relationship Manager should prioritize and coordinate all activities and initiatives with brokers and managing external stakeholders.
Developing and maintaining in-depth understanding of local and regional broker needs, thereby identifying customers’ key strategic priorities, growth areas, challenges and reinsurance buying motivation.
Defining and implementing customers-specific sales strategies for our range of products and services,



preparing high-quality and customers-specific sales presentations (pitch books)
Build and manage Munich Re Specialty Global Markets relationships with all levels of stakeholders and units (internally and externally)
Proactively identifying growth areas for Munich Re Specialty Global Markets and generating new business opportunities with focus on profitable growth.
Skills and experience in managing cross-departmental projects.
~+Strong data analytics and ability to understand fundamental performance metrics.
~ Knowledge of marketing and sales concepts: ability to transfer results of analyses into sales pitch.
~ Business-fluent written and spoken Spanish, Catalan and English.
