Contract Opportunity – Portuguese-Speaking D365 F&O; Functional Consultant

We’re recruiting for a Portuguese-speaking Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to support a major international D365 F&O; rollout.

Portuguese language skills are essential for this role. The consultant must be able to run conversations with Portuguese-speaking users, understand local business requirements, support workshops in Portuguese, and act as the bridge between Portuguese stakeholders and the wider D365 delivery team.

Role overview

The programme is a global D365 F&O; rollout for a Portuguese-headquartered manufacturing / advanced technology organisation. The business is moving away from Business Central and rolling out D365 Finance & Operations across Portugal, the UK, France and wider international sites.

The role can suit someone with a background in either:

- D365 F&O; Finance
- D365 F&O; Supply Chain / Warehouse / Logistics
- D365 F&O; Manufacturing / Production
- D365 F&O; functional analysis / process consulting

The key requirement is that you have strong D365 F&O; functional experience and can work directly with Portuguese-speaking users.

Key responsibilities

- Work with Portuguese-speaking business users to gather, validate and challenge requirements
- Support workshops, process reviews, fit-gap sessions and design discussions in Portuguese and English
- Act as the bridge between local Portuguese stakeholders and the wider D365 F&O; project team
- Support D365 F&O; process design, configuration input, testing, UAT, training, cutover and go-live readiness
- Translate business processes into clear functional requirements and documentation
- Support local adoption of the global D365 F&O; template
- Identify process gaps, risks, data issues and user adoption challenges
- Work with finance, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, IT and project leadership teams

- Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank




- VAT, tax, statutory / localisation requirements
- Chart of accounts, posting profiles, financial dimensions
- R2R, P2P, O2C
- Finance integration with supply chain and manufacturing

Supply Chain / Warehouse / Logistics

- Inventory, procurement, sales orders and logistics
- Warehouse Management / WMS / Advanced Warehouse
- Inbound, putaway, picking, packing, outbound and stock movements
- Barcode / scanner / PDA processes
- Licence plates, labels, warehouse execution and inventory accuracy
- 3PL, external warehouses and logistics partners

Manufacturing / Production

- Production supply, raw materials and finished goods
- Production orders, BOMs, routes, consumption and output
- Master Planning / MRP
- Kanban, supermarket models, line-side stock and production feeding
- Warehouse-to-production process integration
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functional experience
- Fluent Portuguese and strong English
- Ability to work directly with Portuguese-speaking stakeholders
- Experience in ERP implementation, rollout, support or transformation projects
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, testing and documentation skills
- Comfortable working on a fast-moving international programme
- Able to work remotely and travel for key workshops / project phases

Useful experience

- Previous AX to D365 F&O; migration
- Business Central to D365 F&O; migration
- Portuguese localisation, SAF-T, VAT, e-invoicing or statutory reporting
- Manufacturing, warehouse or advanced technology environments
- Multi-country / integral template rollouts
- Consulting, functional lead, business analyst or solution design background
- Role: Portuguese-Speaking D365 F&O; Functional Consultant
- Location: Remote-first
- Travel: Portugal, UK and France for workshops and key phases
- Contract: Initial contract with strong potential to extend
- Start: ASAP / short notice preferred
