At AVL Iberica, we are looking for a
Debug Engineer Hybrid Powertrain
to support the operation and maintenance of software environments used in engine benches, prototype vehicles and customer vehicles within hybrid powertrain projects.
Your Mission
As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to keeping critical development and validation activities running smoothly by supporting technical teams across different stages of the vehicle lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
Support production, end-of-line and dealership activities.
Collaborate with calibration teams.
Maintain the software of engine test benches, prototype vehicles and customer vehicles fully operational.
Contribute to the daily operation of hybrid powertrain development activities.
Profile Description
Technical Background Languages
Education
Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar degree.
Master's degree in automotive-related subjects is desirable.




Understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics.
Experience with
ETAS INCA
AVL Concerto
AVL Creta
Vector CANalyzer
DDT
Matlab/Simulink or similar tools
English and Spanish required
French is a plus.
Driving Licence B mandatory.
Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience.
Experience in hybrid systems preferred.

Salary range: €28,000 - €35,000 gross per year
