Role Description The Freelance IT Technician role involves providing on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems, installing and configuring workstations and peripheral devices, and ensuring systems are updated and secure. The technician will support end users, respond to service requests, document solutions, and escalate complex issues when needed. This freelance role requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills,



and the ability to work independently while collaborating with local staff on technical requirements.

Qualifications
• Strong Troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Hands-on Technical Support experience in Information Technology environments, including desktops, laptops, and basic networking.
• Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, patience, and user-friendly explanations of technical matters.
• Experience delivering Training or guidance to end users on system use, best practices, and basic self-help procedures.
