Company Description IGNITE Serious Play® is a multidisciplinary team providing professional STEM and AI services to the educational community across Spain and LATAM. Through IGNITE Serious Play, the organization offers curricular and extracurricular support focused on STEAM competencies for schools, educators, and families in both in-person and live online formats. Role Description The Monitor/a Educación STEM role is a part-time, on-site position based in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. The educator will lead STEM and STEAM activities for students in school and extracurricular settings, using hands-on, play-based methodologies to foster curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Daily tasks include preparing and delivering lesson plans, guiding small groups through projects and experiments, adapting activities to different ages and learning styles, and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment. The role involves collaborating with school staff and the IGNITE team,



providing feedback on session outcomes, and helping iterate and improve educational materials. The monitor/a will also encourage students to explore technology, robotics, and basic AI concepts in an engaging and accessible way.

Qualifications:

• Experience in STEM/STEAM education, including facilitating science, technology, engineering, arts, or math activities with children or young people.
• Skills in hands-on, project-based learning, with the ability to design and adapt interactive workshops or classroom sessions.
• Strong classroom management and group facilitation skills, creating safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environments.
• Comfort working with educational technologies, robotics kits, or basic coding tools; interest in AI-supported learning is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish; additional proficiency in Catalan and/or English is a plus.
